Targeting Staff Shortages in MRO through Technology
Highly-skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) are a success factor for MRO operations. As demand for aviation roars back from the pandemic, the need for AMTs is rapidly rising. In the coming years, AMTs are projected to be even scarcer. A study conducted by Boeing and the consultancy Oliver Wyman outlines a future imbalance between increased staff demand and supply of skilled MRO staff.
The global aircraft fleet is expected to grow by 3.1% per year over the long term. To meet demand by 2041, more than 610,000 new AMTs would be required. However, trends show that more people are retiring in the industry than are being added.
Meet these challenges by exploring the hidden treasure of your existing AMT workforce!
In this webinar, you will learn why embracing new technologies will be imperative to stay competitive as an MRO service provider in the future. Hear from INFORM Aviation´s Head of Air Cargo and Line Maintenance, Swen Franken, the multiple advantages of deploying state-of-the-art workforce management solutions for both your staff members and company.
