  • VW’s Puebla plant produces around 600,000 vehicles annually, including models like the Beetle and Jetta.

  • The Vehicle Logistics System by INFORM, implemented in 2007, coordinates all logistics processes, from storage to shipping.

  • The Puebla terminal can accommodate over 11,500 cars, with additional external space for 8,000 vehicles.
  • Approximately 1,700 cars leave the Puebla plant daily, with 1,200 shipped by train and 1,500 by truck.

  • Around 200 people per shift use the software, and even logistics partners can manage their assignments through the system.
In the past, we had a number of different yard management systems form our logistics provider. These systems only collected data, and did not organize our workflows. INFORM's software provides us with a system with which we can optimize all processes centrally in real-time, and simultaneously synchronize these throughout the entire supply chain. We have thus been able to realize our idea of a highly integrated approach.
